“It began as two separate blogs. The first, a thankful and lighter one (Rebekah), perhaps a bit whimsical. The second, a thoughtful one (Ryan), perhaps a bit serious. Over time, we realized that our perspectives, by themselves, were a bit incomplete. So in the end we decided to team up in order to balance one another out (Another sort of marriage). Hence, thankful and thoughtful was born. Over the past few years we have had the opportunity to journey with many students and young couples. God has deepened our passion to share our lives with these people and it is our hope that this blog serves as one more avenue to do so.”

I’m thankful for: Grace, my little family, a half-full glass, coffee shops, old homes, craft time, DCBand, fresh flowers, good conversation, and lets not forget…candy.

I’m thoughtful about: Being a citizen of God’s kingdom, the Text, culture, authenticity, the Church, parenting, discipleship, stewardship, and many other things that end in “ship.”
I love: Sleeping with my fists in the air, eating, bath time, and entertaining my parents with dance routines choreographed by my dad.
I love: Going on long walks around the neighborhood, toys with squeakers, and barking out of the window at anyone passing by on a leash or the mailman.
